Pricing, in plain English.

Joining is free — $0 to sign up, $0 to keep your storefront live, and no monthly platform fees. We make money in exactly one way: when you earn a commission on a sale. Every product on ShopDot has a commission rate, usually 10–25% of the order. When a customer buys through your storefront, that commission is earned by you — and ShopDot keeps 15% of your commission as our platform fee, taken at payout, paying you the other 85%. There are no other deductions, no payment processing charges, and no shipping costs taken out. If no one orders, you owe us nothing.
Earnings accrue in your dashboard in real time. Payouts land via direct deposit by the 10th of the following month for orders that have shipped — there's no minimum payout threshold. Earned $4 in March? You'll see $4 land by April 10th.
If a sale is refunded, the associated commission is reversed — same as any retail model. ShopDot's 15% comes off in the same direction. Refunds are handled by our customer service team, so you don't have to manage the conversation.
No. ShopDot is the seller and merchant of record on every storefront and every order — the seller on the receipt and the name on your customer's card statement. Payment processing, interstate sales tax, reseller licensing, fraud prevention, and chargebacks are handled on our side. You never buy inventory upfront or take ownership of a product; you recommend, and earn a commission on every sale. Your commissions are independent income, and ShopDot files any tax information returns the law requires. (General guidance, not legal advice — your own local business-license and tax-reporting rules still apply.)
